Who can buy on the Marketplace?

The Marketplace is intended for private customers (over 18 years of age).

Why should I buy from the Marketplace?

The Marketplace allows you to explore multiple stores in one place, compare products, take advantage of joint promotions, and directly support local businesses with complete security.

Are all the stores located in Braga?

Sim, o Marketplace é dedicado às lojas e negócios de Braga, representando o melhor do comércio local.

How do I start buying on Marketplace?

After registering, the steps to make a purchase are as follows:

Products:

  1. Log in to the Marketplace;
  2. Choose the products you wish to purchase;
  3. Add products to your shopping cart;
  4. If finished, select the option: "Checkout" or click on the Cart;
  5. After reviewing your shopping cart, select the option: "Continue Shopping";
    1. If you haven't logged in yet, you will now be prompted. If you are a new customer, choose the option: "Create an Account";
  6. Enter the address where you want to receive your purchases or the option: "Store" if you want to pick them up in store;
  7. Select the option: "Proceed with Payment";
  8. Select the payment method and enter the respective details;
  9. Review the purchase and select: "Continue".

Experiences:

  1. Log in to the Marketplace;
  2. Choose the experience you wish to purchase;
  3. Add the experience to your shopping cart;
    1. If you haven't logged in yet, you will now be prompted. If you are a new customer, choose the option: “Create an Account”;
  4. Select the details for the reservation;
  5. After reviewing the reservation details, select the option: “Book”;
  6. Select the option: “Proceed with Payment”;
  7. Select the payment method and enter the respective details;
  8. Review the purchase and select: “Continue”.

How do I find a product or service on the Marketplace?

To find a product or service, simply type the article name or keyword into the search engine. Alternatively, you can always browse through the categories and subcategories.

Can I shop at multiple stores at the same time?

Yes. You can add products from different stores to the same cart.

Each store will prepare and ship its portion of the order.

Is my personal data protected on the Marketplace?

The SSL protocol is used to protect all data related to personal information.

Is it safe to buy from the Marketplace?

The SSL protocol is used to protect all data related to payment methods.

Note: We do not control the security level of your mobile or Wi-Fi network, which varies depending on the operator. For any questions on this topic, you should contact your mobile operator.

What are the payment methods accepted by Marketplace?

Payments can be made via:

  • Local Payments: MB WAY and ATM;
  • Cards: Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express).

Is the payment secure?

Yes. All payments are processed through certified platforms, with data encryption and compliance with European security standards.

Can I get a receipt for my purchase?

Yes. Each store is responsible for issuing the invoice, which, in addition to accompanying the product, will be submitted in the customer area.

How are deliveries made?

You can choose between:

  • In-store pickup (no cost);
  • Delivery to an address you specify, via our logistics partners.

Can I track my order?

Yes. As soon as the store ships your order, you will receive a tracking code or status update in your customer area.

Can I pick up the product directly at the store?

Yes. At checkout, simply select "Store".

What if my order arrives damaged?

You must report the problem directly to the store within 48 hours of delivery, attaching photos of the product and packaging. You can use the contact request form on the store's page or send an email.

Can I return a product?

Yes. Returns are accepted in accordance with each store's policy and current legislation.

How do I return a product?

Contact the store, providing your order number and the reason for the return. Additionally, use the Return option available in your order details to request a refund.

Who covers the return shipping costs?

  • If the return is due to a defect or error on the part of the store: the cost is covered by the store.
  • If it is due to buyer's remorse: the cost is covered by the customer.

How long does the refund take?

After the product is received and verified by the store, the refund is issued using the same payment method, within a maximum of 14 business days.

Can I exchange a product?

Yes, as long as the store accepts exchanges and there is stock available. The conditions are defined by the store.

How can I contact customer support?

You can contact us via: suporte@centrobraga.pt, or directly with the store.

I had a problem with my order, what should I do?

We recommend contacting the store first. If you do not receive a response within 3 business days, please contact Marketplace support for mediation: suporte@centrobraga.pt.

Can I change or cancel an order?

Yes, provided the change request is made before shipment. After dispatch, you must follow the return process.

How do I know if my Marketplace order has been accepted by the seller?

Once you submit and pay for your order, the seller should accept or reject it, preferably within 24 hours. This timeframe allows the seller to verify stock availability and ensure that the conditions for shipping your order are met.

You can track the status of your order from your account area.

I didn't receive the product I ordered from Marketplace, what should I do?

If you have not received your order within the expected timeframe, you should contact the store directly.

How can I change the billing information or delivery date of my order on the Marketplace?

To check if it's possible to change the delivery date of your order or to request a change to your billing information, you must contact the store.

Can I cancel my order on the Marketplace?

If you have already paid for your order, cancellation will only be accepted if the cancellation request is made within 72 hours of payment and if the seller has not yet accepted it. To do this, you must contact the seller.

The seller isn't responding to my messages, what can I do?

The seller should respond to your questions within an estimated 48 business hours.

Can I request a duplicate payment slip?

If you haven't received the invoice with your order, you should check if it's available in your Personal Area > Orders > Order Details > Download Documents.

If the invoice is not available in your Personal Area, you can contact the seller through the contact form available on the respective Store page.

Do Marketplace products and services include fees and taxes?

Yes, the price shown on the product page already includes all applicable taxes and fees.

Shipping costs are not included in the price shown and are always calculated at checkout. Additionally, there may be applicable taxes in the destination countries, which are not included and may vary by country.

What happens if the merchant doesn't accept my order on the Marketplace?

If the seller declines your order, you will receive an email informing you of this. The order is automatically cancelled, and the amount is refunded to the same payment method.

If I have questions about my Marketplace order, can I contact the merchant directly?

Yes, whenever you have any doubts or questions about your order, you can contact the seller.

Can I receive my Marketplace order anywhere in the country or even abroad?

Yes.

What's it like to sell on Marketplace?

Marketplace is a digital platform created to support local merchants, allowing them to sell their products online and reach a wider audience. The initiative aims to strengthen local commerce by offering a modern and accessible alternative for local businesses.

Merchants can participate in Marketplace through a registration process, where they receive support to set up their online store and list their products or services. In addition, the platform provides benefits such as increased visibility, ease of sales management, and the possibility of offering promotions and discounts to their customers.

For consumers, Marketplace represents a convenient way to buy local products without leaving home, promoting the regional economy and encouraging sustainable consumption.

How do I start selling on Marketplace?

Join the Marketplace.
Later, you will be contacted by the management team to formalize your registration and receive all the necessary documentation.
After approval by the administrator, you will receive a confirmation email to access your workspace;
Use the tools available to you in your workspace to add your products and services.

Do I need a computer system or other requirements to participate in the Marketplace?

All you need is a smartphone, tablet, or computer with an internet connection.

Can I issue invoices and payment slips on the Marketplace?

No. But you must upload invoices and/or receipts for each order to the reserved area associated with the respective customer.

I don't have internet access, can I still participate in the Marketplace?

Having an internet connection is essential. However, it is not a barrier to joining the merchant network as long as you can provide proof that you have a functioning internet connection at the time the solution is activated.

Do I have any kind of technical support to participate in the Marketplace?

The Marketplace has a dedicated onboarding program for new members, in addition to providing all the necessary training for its use.

There is also a support channel that provides technical and operational assistance.

Can only commercial establishments join the Marketplace?

All legal entities, whether collective or individual, can join, provided they are legally constituted to carry out commercial activity. The main objective is to make the Marketplace accessible and inclusive for both sellers and buyers.

How will my customers know that my business is on the Marketplace?

All participating businesses will receive physical and digital media during the initial training to promote their participation in the Marketplace, which can be displayed in the physical space of the establishment and on their online channels.

What are the advantages of joining the Marketplace?

By joining the Marketplace you gain:

What can I sell on Marketplace?

You can offer your customers a variety of products and services.

If any product or service is part of a brand external to the company, its presentation and sale are subject to the commercial relationship that the seller has with the respective brand.

What can't I sell on Marketplace?

Some products may not comply with Marketplace operating standards or may have legal restrictions that prevent their sale. To obtain approval for certain products or even develop new categories, request approval from the management team or consult the general terms and conditions of sale.

Who manages the content of the online store?

Each store owner is responsible for updating the products, prices, descriptions, and inventory of their online store.

Can I sell only part of my products?

Yes. You can select the products you want to make available online, without having to list the entire catalog.

Can I edit product prices or descriptions?

Yes. You can edit the content at any time through your online store's control panel.

What are my obligations?

  • Create clear and complete advertisements;
  • Keep inventory updated;
  • Inform AEB about new campaigns, promotions, and sales;
  • Confirm sales in your work area;
  • Meet shipping deadlines;
  • Package the product carefully to avoid damage during transport;
  • Comply with the return policy.

How will I manage my business on the Marketplace?

You can manage all your Marketplace activity by accessing your workspace via smartphone, tablet, or computer.

How are sales processed?

When a customer makes a purchase, they receive an automatic notification. You can track the order status in your dashboard. Payment is processed by the Marketplace and transferred to your online store account.

When do I receive payment for sales?

Payments are transferred to the registered bank account weekly, on Wednesdays. Users can change these settings through the Mollie portal.

You can add and customize all the details of your products and services or create products in your workspace.

How can I boost and increase my sales on the Marketplace?

There are many ways to increase your sales and interact with your customers, thus boosting multiple forms of business, namely:

  • Increasing the visibility of your products or services by creating promotions, vouchers, or opportunities;
  • Launching campaigns and collections that can be promoted through newsletters;
  • Optimizing existing ads by improving the displayed photos and using keywords;
  • Promoting the Marketplace;
  • Developing a good reputation, especially in terms of customer support, fast delivery, and after-sales follow-up.

What are the costs I will incur for deliveries on the Marketplace?

Shipping costs are the responsibility of the end customer.

Can I cancel my Marketplace membership at any time, free of charge?

Yes. And the Marketplace offers the opportunity to recover your account should you wish to return to this local commerce ecosystem.
